Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, I grew up on a cattle ranch in the Carson Valley, where I learned early the value of hard work, responsibility, and long-term thinking. I attended Douglas High School before earning my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with distinction from the University of Nevada, Reno. While at UNR, I had the honor of serving as President of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and was actively involved in several campus organizations.
I began my career as a Financial Advisor in 1998 at Dean Witter in Carson City and have spent more than 27 years helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate their financial lives with confidence. Today, I bring together over three decades of business experience and a deep background in financial advising to provide thoughtful, practical, and personalized guidance. While I now reside in Oklahoma, I still make frequent visits to Northern Nevada to see clients, family and friends.
I specialize in cash management, retirement planning, tax-efficient portfolio design, portfolio management, and college planning for individuals and families. For business owners, I provide guidance on cash management strategies, retirement plan design, and tax-free and tax-efficient investing. I also hold a life insurance license and assist clients with personal life insurance needs, including buy-sell strategies for business owners.
At the core of my practice is a simple belief: trust and honesty are essential to successful financial relationships. Financial planning is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process that requires continuous oversight, clear communication, and a long-term partnership with my clients.

Outside of work, I am proud of my family. My wife, Molly, and I have been happily married since 1991. We have a daughter, Brooke, and a son, Austin (1994–2008). Balancing family and professional life remains one of my greatest priorities and proudest achievements.
